Set in the galleries of the historic One Marylebone, The Colour of Opulence brought together a collection of London’s leading vendors to produce a shoot worthy of its title. More than just a styled shoot, it was a statement of Britain’s creative talent, and a vision of excess brought to life.
We covered the dining table with an ombré garland of dusky pink to cream roses, with a classic bouquet of blush roses to match. The bridal look, and indeed the whole theme of the shoot, was centred on one of history’s most opulent figures: Marie Antoinette. Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium created an intricately designed assortment of cakes, perfectly arranged on Versailles-inspired furniture. The finished result was a visual spectacle.
