Cliveden House Photo Shoot
Last year we had the pleasure of creating a photo shoot at the amazing Cliveden House. The venue is absolutely stunning; when we arrived the fire was roaring, emitting a gorgeous pine scent as you entered the wood-panelled entrance hall.
The banqueting room had such intricate details on the walls and ceilings your eye catches something new each time you look around.
From the banqueting room windows, immaculate gardens sprawl out as far as the eye can see, creating a feeling of seclusion, privacy and intimacy – a perfect wedding venue!
The brief was ‘Opulence’ so we combined an abundance of quite neutral flowers with statement designs and lots of gold accessories. The finest attention to detail was provided by the Paula Rooney team, adding our signature ‘napkin styling’ to the table to provide those finishing touches.
We feel this shoot really captures the potential of Cliveden House, but by no means limits it to this sort of style.
Styling a gorgeous mannequin with our floral ruff- what a beautiful corsage this would make for a fashion forward Mother of the Bride.
The bouquet had romantic ribbon trails to add to the opulent theme of the shoot. It is pure talent on Paula’s part that she can create something so beautiful so very quickly – this bouquet was a last minute addition!
The incredible cake made by Krishanthi was a statement piece within the room with us providing the beautiful floral base for it to sit proudly upon.
Laura Burkitt, who has styled lots of Bridal shoots, had a natural gift at being able to see ‘through the camera’ and knowing what would look beautiful in the magazine.
Duchess and Butler, who provided the charger plates, glasses and cutlery, have an incredible range of crockery. Having a little extra something on your tables really makes the difference to the final and overall look of your wedding.
Zosia is a fantastic photographer, preferring to shoot on film to pick up on all the finer details and create a clarity within her work. Zosia captures moments of the day you didn’t think anyone saw and these are the pictures (even on a photo shoot, let alone a wedding!) which mean the most.
Each place setting had it’s own rose encased in gold. This just adds a final touch and makes each guest feel valued and wanted at your wedding! They also make for beautiful favours and photographs. Tea lights, bud vases and cluster pots styled down the table added to the sheer volume of flower and upped the opulent and excessive feel of the table.
Why not make a feature of your drinks or dessert trolley? We may be biased, but we think there can never be enough flowers.
The team had a lovely day working with some very talented industry professionals and if you would like to speak to one of us about ideas for your own wedding, then do give us a call.
